Suffolk Canoe Trail Project 1989-1990
Senior/Cadette Girl Scout Troop 782 designed and marked Suffolk Waters that were good spots to canoe. The Trail included the Lakes, Creeks and Nansemond River.

Suffolk Canoe Trails Opens
Canoeing demonstrations marked the official opening of Suffolk Canoe Trails. It was a two year community service project working with Norfolk, Portsmouth and Suffolk Public Work departments.
